At the Swiss IT-Procurement Conference in Bern I will give a talk about why classic procurement is unsuitable for agile teams. The IT-Procurement Conference is the main conference in Switzerland for procurers, consultants, lawyers and other specialists working in the field of public procurement and dealing with IT-specific procurement. This event is organized by the Research Center for Digital Sustainability of the Institute for Business Informatics of the University of Bern, the ISB, the Swiss Informatics Conference SIK, the swissICT and the CH Open.
The benefits of agile cooperation have prevailed. There are already agile contracts. In the field of procurement (RfI> RfP> RfQ) of agile teams, however, little has so far been done. In comparison, this is expensive, inefficient, and focuses on the solution, not least on price. In an agile setup, however, other factors are important, such as the effective customer problem, time-to-market, adaptability to changing conditions, appropriate soft skills, cooperation with a partnership, cultural match, etc. Mirko Kleiner, co-founder Of flowdays presents the first pure agile procedure for procurers with lean-agile procurement!
